Describe your dog.

Lola is a Little ball of energy, love and sass.
Lola has a ‘Brother from another Mother’. He’s a Cat, named Louie. They are really like an old married couple, fighting all night then they sleep together.

Describe your home.

Unique, with a cool edge, very relaxing, uncluttered, adaptive, just easy.

Whats your dogs favourite hanging out spot?

Lola is the last born in the house, she kind of gets precedence to do what she wants. She loves to sleep in everyone’s rooms on their beds. She’s a double Agent. When you think she loves you the most, she swaps rooms and sleeps with someone else. Yeah her loyalty to everyone runs deep.

If dogs and their owners are supposed to look the same, does this reflect in the design of your home as well?

The house has a lot of love in it, but like everything, it has an opposite. There was definite consideration in the design with colors and materials to reflect our brooding moods that we all have at times. We chose ink blue walls for example in the sitting rooms. At night you can relax or brood in front of the fire with candles and soft lighting

What makes your dog unique?

She talks. She actually says ‘Mum’ in the morning.

How did you choose your dogs name?

One of the kids channeled it. Then came her nick-name, Squish and Squishy. Because you want to cuddle her so much.

If your dog said something about the house, what would it be?

"It’s god darn dog heaven.
I can go everywhere in the house and do what I want full circle and it’s safe for me."

Any other fun stories to share?

Lola said she wants to be on the Title of the House!
